Akiane Kramarik
18 years old.
Akiane is mostly a self taught painter and paints mostly religious pictures of god or different things that are happening in the world that she wants to bring awareness to. SHe started drawing when she was just 4 years old. What is weird is that he parents were both atheists when she first started painting and drawing. Her first self-portrait sold for $10,000.
I am drawn to her work because of how professional it is and how much she has grown from when she was 4 to now. Her Work astonishes me that she could be that good at the age of 4. Her hand drawing that she did when she was five is much better than the one I had to do for this class.
I like how you posted the images of her artwork from when she was young, as well as her artwork now. It really shows how much she has grown as an artist.
ReplyDeleteWow thats unbelievable she was able to do that at five years old, and how much better she got as she got older. The candle painting looks almost like a photograph because its so realistic and detailed
ReplyDeleteThis artists story is pretty inspriring...makes me feel like i've been slacking for the past 18 years! I like her use of space in the bottom piece. It has a good balance of positive and negative space.
