1. Go to the drawing/art BOOK section of the library. Look at a number of different books.
- Find a book about an artist whose work you respond to in some way. You love it. Hate it. etc. Look at their DRAWINGS.
- Some examples of people to look at would be: Alberto Giacometti, Henry Moore, Edgar Degas, Peter Paul Rubens........
- Spend time looking at the images of their work and find a line drawing they have done.
- Then, find an example of the line drawing by them or one like it online. Save it.
- Post it to our blog in a new post and explain why you find it interesting. (2 or 3 sentences. Make sure you edit for grammar and punctuation.)
2. In your small sketchbook: Draw three different angles of your hand. Using grid lines to establish:
- proportions
- direction of the form
- value
